Summary:
A short cameo in this classic Captain America story arc. Cap is without his shield, without his suit, without resources. He must therefore turn to none other than Doom for help. Doom supplies Cap with a faux uniform and shield and free transport back to the states.

Comments:
A short but sweet scene between two goliaths in the MARVEL universe. Mark Waid demonstrates good geography sense by using Doom the way he does. Interesting to note that Waid would later go on to write Doom during his run on the FF. This is a great arc for Cap fans. Its also one of Doom's rare appearances in a Captain America title. You'd think they would have faced off more often? This also marks one of Doom's last appearances in the regular MU before being whisked off into the Heroes Reborn universe. Bottom Line: N/A
