The Classic Period

The classic period encompasses everything from his first appearance in Fantastic Four #5 until his first death at the hands of Terrax in FF#260. It is this period which established the character as the major villain of the MARVEL universe.

The Monarch in Exile

Doom returns to the pages of MARVEL, however things are not as they should be. This period pits Doom against his greatest enemy...himself. Doom faces a precise replica of his mind in the form of the boy Kristoff Vernard. This time in Doom's life is characterized by his long presence outside of Latveria. His eventual return to the throne is short lived however since this period ends with his "demise" at the final confrontation with Onslaught

Heroes Reborn

Classic heroes and villains are re-imagined in this new universe that gives favorite characters a fresh start. This however proves to be short-lived and heroes and villain alike are returned to the regular MARVEL universe.

Heroes Return - Unthinkable

MARVEL's greatest super-villain returns in style. This period proves to be Doom's most productive in years as he manages to win a series of psychological victories against his old nemesis Reed Richards. First, Chris Claremont takes up the writing chores on the FF and gives Doom a chance to show the FF how little difference there is between Reed and himself. Then, Doom manages to do something Reed was unable to, deliver Sue's child. Finally, in his most fierce attack, Doom plunges Reed over the edge and onto a path of self destruction that results in severe consequences for the FF. Victory however costs Doom his life....

House of M - Secret Wars

In the aftermath of Mark Waid's Authoritative Action arc, Doom is dead. Rotting in the flames of hell. But as always, Doom returns. However these are turbulent times in the Marvel Universe. The world is shaken by M-Day, Civil War, Secret Invasion, and a series of consecutive events that culminate in the literal end of the MARVEL universe.

Redemption and Relapse [Coming Soon]

Following the events of Secret Wars, the MARVEL universe is born again. After his stint as God Emperor Doom, the Latverian monarch has seemingly turned a new leaf. Or has he?
