Comments:

Doom's role in this "prelude" to Doomwar boils down to a series of cameos. He's mostly in the background just watching things. Still, this arc makes for essential reading in order to fully enjoy Doomwar. As I write this, Doomwar is still in progress. Jonathan Mayberry has taken over writing duties from Reggie Hudlin, and so far I like what he's done. In the small scenes that Doom appears, he characterizes him as a master strategist. Cold and calculating. A major improvement over previous appearances and characterizations of Doom in the previous volume of Black Panther. Since Doom's only a guest in these issues, I'm not going to rate it. However I do strongly recommend it for those who want the big picture on Doomwar. Bottom Line: N/A
