Summary:

The formally deceased Atlantean Attuma awakens in Castle Doom. Doom explains that using a combination of magic and science he has brought about his resurrection. As part of his new life, Doom has given him increased strength and abilities to be on par against his old nemesis Namor. Attuma asks why Doom would do this for him. Doom explains that although he and Namor are now allies, history shows that frequently they end up becoming enemies again before long. Doom wants Attuma to serve him in case of this possibility. Attuma refuses, so Doom gives him one hour to reconsider or else he will need to fight his way out of the castle. And hour goes by as Attuma thinks of his past exploits. Doom enters and asks for his decision.

 

Comments:

Nothing major. Short and sweet. I like that Doom is preparing for what always happens when Namor and Doom team up. I also like that Doom can bring people back from the dead. A short but cool appearance. Although they say its a digital exclusive, I hope one day it will be collected in a nice little trade with all of Doom's other little appearances. I think it would fit nice in a trade with Dark Reign: The Cabal. Bottom Line: *** out of 5
