Summary:
Kang's illegitimate son, Ramades, has Reed, Sue, and Ben transported to ancient Egypt, while Johnny is sent to an alternate Earth. While on the alternate Earth, Johnny encounters a teenaged Valeria who explains that she has been living there ever since their Earth was taken over by Ramades. She also informs Johnny that on the Earth they are on, there was never a Fantastic Four, and Doom rules the world. Johnny and Valeria then attack Doom's base in New York and uses his time platform to escape the parallel universe.

Comments:
Please note that Doom does not actually appear in issue 16. In issue 17 Doom gets a nice cover appearance however he is pretty much a cameo. He nearly kills Valeria and has little to say since he doesn't even know who Johnny and her are. Although its an entertaining FF story, I'm still waiting for the real Doom to return.
