Summary:

The Skrull invasion comes to an end. Norman Osborn delivers the fatal shot which kills the Skrull Queen. In the aftermath, the US government spurns Tony Stark for failing to protect the planet. Osborn takes the new lead role in national security. While the public sees him as a hero, others know better. Gathered in secret, Osborn meets with Doom and other villains from across the board to explain how things are going to be.

Iron Man has gone from the top and now hit rock bottom. We finally got a nice little pay off for the hint dropped in Thor #5. Dark Reign right now seems to involve some Super-Villain Team-Up ala Acts of Vengeance. The final page of Secret Invasion looks exactly like the AoV council. After being left to the sidelines for the past 4-5 events, it looks like Doom might finally be participating again in Marvel Universe in a big way. Let's wait and see. Seeing how Doom only shows up at the end, it doesn't seem fair to rate the whole issue. So... Bottom Line: N/A

• A team up of super-villains has been hinted at before, specifically Doom and Loki were revealed to be working together In Thor #5.
