Title - Without a Trace

Summary:

The Black Cat calls in a favor from Spider-Man. The word on the street is that a buyer willing to pay a lot of money for an object stored in the Latverian embassy. Cat wants Spider-Man's help to steal it before the object falls into the wrong hands. After some reluctance, Spider-Man agrees to help despite not knowing exactly what the object is. The two make it into the facility underneath the embassy where they are confronted by Doom. After a short battle, he is defeated and revealed to be a Doombot. Black Cat quickly breaks into the safe and shows Spider-Man what it was they have stolen. To Spider-Man's surprise its a Spider-Tracer with his finger-print on it. Black Cat only wanted to protect his secret identity so he wouldn't get hurt.

 

 

 

Comments:

As with most Doombot stories, there is little to recommend here. The writing and art are both excellent. For fans of Spider-Man and/or Black Cat (not to mention fans of Spider-man and Black Cat) this is no doubt a must-read. However for Doom fans, just skip it. Bottom Line: N/A
