Victor von Doom / Dr. Doom  [ Earth-1298 ]

First Appearance: Mutant X #12

Little is known of the history of the Victor von Doom of Earth-1298. In general this universe diverges drastically from the main universe [616]. In this universe Victor von Doom is apparently a respected world leader to which the United Nations turns to when looking for someone to take command of their armies. Under the common threat of the Goblin Queen's mad rampage and destruction of the United States, Europe's leaders give command of their armies the to Latverian monarch. Prior to this emergency, Doom was also involved in the imprisonment of the Beyonder. When the world was once again facing destruction at his hands, Doom sent a Doombot along with an army of other superheroes to battle the Beyonder. This army was quickly decimated. Doom regrouped with the Inhumans to launch a second strike. Doom ultimately died in this battle. It is unclear whether it was the Beyonder who finally defeated him or whether he was fed upon by the Beyonder's ally, Dracula.
