Summary:

As Iron Man links with Rebel in order to keep him alive, he relives key moments in their past history only from his perspective. Victor Von Doom is present at several moments. Tony and Rebel toy with some of Victor's samples at one point. Later Victor delivers the two the news that the Russians have built the Titanium Man and thus beating them in the race to perfect the first suit of armor.

Comments:

Victor puts in a few panel appearances reflecting the Knights of the Atomic Round Table period. Interesting is the moment where Rebel does something to Victor's samples. I wonder if that is some small hint that perhaps this led to the explosion which scarred him. Just speculation on my part. Not much here, Bottom Line: Skip It!

Comments

Last page cliffhanger reveals is second only to the Doombot reveal among Doom's many appearances. This is no different than the rest with only the added twist that in the Heroes Reborn universe, Hydra is apparently his front organization. It makes sense in a way. If he wants to keep his diplomatic immunity then he would need someone else to do his dirty work. Still, its just one page, Bottom Line: Skip It!

Comments:

The Heroes Reborn line begins to suffer the ills of Marvel setting the seeds of Heroes Return. The resultant interference causes the story to literally disappear as the reader is forced to recap on scenes from Volume 1. Whatever plot there was is tossed out the window and the scene is set for the next big crossover for the universe, Heroes Reunited. Bottom Line: Skip It!
