Summary:
Using Doom's power siphoning device, Stryfe drains Cable's and Nate Grey's psionic powers for himself. Eventually Nate manages to telekinetically lock the device onto Strfye so that it absorbs and pumps him with energy at the same time. The resultant loop creates an overload which damages Stryfe's pyramid ship making him unable to absorb or channel further energy.

Stryfe reveals that he is using Doom's "infamous power sapping device." This is the device he used to rob the power cosmic from the Silver Surfer.
At the end of the issue, it is unclear as to Strfye's fate, perhaps explaining why some believe that Strfye is in power after this event. See Gambit #12.
