Title: Going Out of Business Sale

Summary:

In the aftermath of the explosion, Nightshade is invaded by foragers led by the man called Packrat. His minions find Spider-Man in the wreckage and take him back with them to their base. Meanwhile, Tyler Stone pays Dana a visit. He takes advantage of Miguel having called off their engagement to pursue Dana himself. Elsewhere, Gabe and Kasey take a flight to Mexico for the Day of the Dead festival. Spider-Man awakens to find himself a prisoner of Packrat and his crazy minions. He is offered a choice. He can either fight his way out or get "junior" to work. Junior is an android of some kind which they discovered when they first came to the base they use as their home. Spider-Man approaches and the android seems to recognize him. His appearance matches two entries in his recognition database. The android, suddenly takes on a appearance which blends together those of the original Spider-Man, Venom, and Miguel's own costume. Awakened, the android refers to itself as Spider-Man's Flipside. He wants to be Spider-Man's best friend, or else he will kill him.

 

Title: Brotherly Hate

Summary:

Kron steps toward Miguel to stab him with his knife when suddenly Miguel switches on the hot water of the showers. Miguel takes advantage of Kron's surprise to knock him down. Kron recovers quickly and proceeds to beat Miguel until Angela arrives and pulls him away. An angry Angela breaks Kron's arm and then orders him to pack as she plans to have him expelled.

 

 

 

 

Issue: 30

Title: Bugaboo

Summary:
The reactivated Flipside is obsessed with being Spider-Man's friend. So much that when he's rejected, he kills the first person who tries to comfort him. When he sees that Spider-Man is searching the computer databanks for a way to deactivate, Flipside goes on a homicidal rampage. Spider-Man seemingly defeats him by decapitating the robot. Similarly, Packrat appears to let Spider-Man go free. However Packrat really plans to hunt him down. Unfortunately for him, Flipside repairs himself and kills all his people leaving just him. Miguel returns to Nightshade and reunites with Xina. There he learns that Angela died. Xina wants to return to the city, but Miguel refuses and they part ways.

 

Title: Splitting

Summary:

Xina tries to convince Miguel to appear and testify against Kron at a board hearing. Miguel refuses out of fear of what would happen to his family should he be responsible for getting Tyler Stone's son expelled.
