Issue: 32 Title: Day of the Dead Writer: Peter David Art: Roger Robinson
Summary: In Mexico City, a man digs up a coffin on the Day of the Dead. He's caught by a night watchmen who he promptly beats with a shovel. At a nearby hotel, Miguel shares a room with Xina, whom he is trying not to have a romance with. As he stares out into the crowd, he recalls how his Spider-Man costume was originally made for this festival. Miguel is then surprised to find Gabe staring out the window of the room next door. Startled, Gabe falls forward through the window and is caught by Miguel's webbing. Miguel reels him in. Elsewhere, Morgez uses an amulet to try and bring his sister back from the dead. A bright light shines upwards out from the city and blinds Miguel leading to Gabe and the others to take Miguel to the hospital. Donning his Spider-Man costume, Miguel leaves the hospital to investigate. On the rooftops he meets Strange. She explains to him that there is something grave going on in the city. Thanks to Morgez's amulet, the dead are rising.

Title: Hitting the Road Writer: Peter David Art: David Boller
Summary: Miguel catches a taxi driven by a man named Dash. He asks Miguel what he's doing so far out by himself. Miguel explains how he is running away to avoid having to rat out on Kron Stone. As they drive, Dash accidentally runs over a raccoon. Dash and Miguel quickly learn that the raccoon stood in Dash's path so that other raccoons could cross the street. Dash says that the raccoon's actions are admirable. He did the right thing. Miguel changes his mind and returns to the school to testify against Kron.

Issue: 33 Title: Strange Whine Writer: Peter David Art: Andrew Wildman
Summary: Spider-Man and Strange charge into Morgez's apartment to confront him about his actions. Morgez explains he was trying to bring back his sister using the amulet, but it did nothing. Strange touches the amulet and undergoes a physical transformation. Strange attacks Spider-Man and he learns that Strange apparently shares her body with some kind of demon. The amulet burned them both and the demon wants revenge. Elsewhere, Gabe and Kasey encounter the dead as they mingle in with the Day of the Dead festivities. From afar, Strange's mentor bottles in her demonic side so Strange is once more in control of herself. Spider-Man and Strange observe that the city is overrun with the dead. Suddenly Morgez's sister, Nita rises behind them. This gives Spider-Man an idea. Sitting in a street alley, Morgez recalls how, as a child, he accidentally killed his sister with one of his father's rifle. Nita appears before Morgez and asks to return to the warmth she felt before he brought her back. Morgez surrenders the amulet to her and embraces her. The two erupt into flames. Afterwards, Strange tells Spider-Man that his idea to use the sister like a puppet worked. She then destroys the amulet. Spider-Man meanwhile decides its time to return to the U.S.

Summary: Miguel testifies that Kron did attack he and Xina. Tyler Stone argues that a fight between the two is not grounds for expulsion. Miguel then reveals that Kron attempted to murder him in the pool and tricks Kron into admitting that its true.
