Comments:

So its all Doom's fault...Jeph Loeb puts an end to "Ultimate" Doom. Can't say I will miss him. I think everyone knows I am not fond of the Ultimate universe, so that's no surprise. I could go off on a rant about how silly it is to have Thing just walk in and crush Doom's head in the palm of his hand....but this is the Ultimate universe. Everything is supposed to be different from the regular 616 universe. I guess Ultimate Doom just didn't have as good a security system as his 616 counterpart. Hence...no rant. If I had to sum up Ultimate Doom....I would say he's a loser. Unlike his 616 counter part who has a number of victories under his belt, Ultimate Doom is just a list of "errors in judgment." Being killed off in a major event like this was probably the best thing they could have done with this character. It seems unfair to rate what only amounts to a cameo appearance, but this is a major reveal and of course what could be the characters final appearance. If you're a Ultimate Doom fan, then yeah...this is a must read.
